Hagamos Vaquita is a bill-splitting web app for Argentina. You photograph a restaurant or event receipt, it reads the line items, and you split the bill either evenly or item by item, assigning each dish or drink to the people who actually had it. Then each person gets a link to see what they owe. The gap we're filling is local. Mercado Pago's Amigos feature splits totals but can't read a receipt or split by item. International apps like Splitwise or Splitty ignore how Argentine bills actually work: IVA is already in the price so there's nothing to prorate, tips are settled off the ticket, the cubierto is split per head instead of by consumption, fiscal receipts group quantities into a single line, and when someone pays with a bank promo the group has to negotiate who keeps the discount. Target users are people in their twenties and thirties in Argentina who split bills with friends several times a month and today do it by hand over WhatsApp. Only the person who scans needs an account; everyone else opens a link with no download and no signup, because the whole social flow already lives in WhatsApp. The product is at the validation stage, pre-launch, no paying users yet.
